The cross-cultural, cross-border mingling has resulted in the creation of a new class of people-global citizens with global attitudes, tastes and networks. Since it unleashes multiple variables, the borderless world precludes immense complexity-complexity in the environment, in inter-organizational relationships, in modes of conducting business and in socio-cultural diversity.
Elaborate this statement and discuss the underlying concepts with relevant example. You may describe the incident/situation being referred/quoted in support of answer/s.

Answer. Human Resource is the main asset of a company. Hence dealing with human resources in the current environment is very critical. Human resources is the group of employees that form the employed pool of an organization. Human capital is occasionally used synonymously with human resources, although human capital usually describes a more narrow view; i.e., the knowledge the individuals embody and can contribute to a business. Similarly, other terms occasionally used include “manpower”, “talent”, “labor” or just “people”. In modern organizations, workers are considered assets to the business, whose value is increased by development. Hence, businesses practice a barrage of human resource management techniques to take advantage of those assets…..

2) Discuss and critically evaluate the concept and purpose of mobility as part of overall organisational process and functioning. Explain the effect/impact of mobility on the functioning of organisation with real life organisational example you are familiar with. Briefly describe the organisation you are referring to.

Answer. Companies deal with growing demands to systematize and rationalize their procedures and practices concerning the mobility of staff. Changes in govt rules, the nature of the economy, and the demographic structure of the employees are kinds of outside pressures on management to improve HRM and career planning. Internal demands are created by workers and potential employees with growing expectations, who demand more from corporation than just a job. Internal mobility is an essential part of firms employment approach and, as a result, of the overall company strategy. Good mobility practices can effectively help companies to attract and keep good quality workers, enhance workforce engagement and smooth succession planning….

3) What are various methods of Performance Appraisal? What problem are generally encountered in Performance Appraisal? Explain with examples from the organisation you have been working in or familiar with. Describe the organisational set up you are referring to.

Answer. Motivation could be described as the power which triggers and drives a person’s behavior. It’s the inner strength which ignites us to attain our objectives. Generally, it is thought to be a dynamic frame of mind not related to personality. You can find 3 facets of human behavior that motivation relies on:
1. Arousal of behavior
2. Direction of behavior
3. Persistence of behavior

Motivation may also be viewed as
1. Positive or Negative
2. Obvious or subtle
3. Intangible or tangible

Basically, reward systems are concerned with 2 key difficulties: performance and rewards. Performance consists of defining and assessing performance and giving workers with feedback. Rewards consist of bonus, wage increases, and promotions, stock awards, and perquisites…….
